Namibia Heritage Week 2024
Namibian Heritage week was celebrated between 18 -24 September 2024.
The Jasper House Museum, in partnership with the Namibia Museums Association, organized a series of events during the recent heritage week.
The 2024 theme was celebrated under, “Kultuur is Gemeenskaap en Gemeenskaap is Kultuur,” emphasized the interconnectedness of community and culture. The week featured a range of activities, including a mobile planetarium exhibition for community members, cultural key chain-making art classes at the Oranjemund Art Center, and a main Heritage Week event that showcased cultural performances, heritage storytelling, and choral performances by the Unam choir and local community choir groups.
